Eco-Torch flat roof insulation

Eco-therm is a flat roof insulation board that can be used with torch-on and roll and pour felt, mastic asphalt and fully adhered single-ply systems. Suitable for use on both new building projects and existing roofs that need an upgrade to their thermal performance, it’s a cost effective way of preventing heat loss, reducing CO2 emissions and complying with the latest building regulations.

Eco-Torch, which is LABC Registered, has been specially designed to withstand the application of hot bitumen at up to 230ºC thanks to the glass tissue coating on one side and bituminised glass fibre tissue with polypropylene fleece on the other.

The product is stable, rot proof and durable and will remain effective as an insulation system at least as long as the waterproof covering, but is dependent on the method of application, the supporting structure and conditions of use.

Eco-Torch is produced in a range of thicknesses between 30-150mm. Where thicknesses greater than 150mm are required to achieve Building Regulation compliance, this can be reached by using two layers of insulation with joints staggered.
