About the role
BCS is a cutting-edge, three-way shared service between the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council.
We are a local authority building control service provision; with an innovative outlook enabling us to compete effectively.
Our ambition is to be the building control service of choice for all projects in our diverse patch of the country. This means we must maintain the quality of our work, outstanding customer service and quick response rates throughout the service.
We are recruiting to a number of Building Control Surveyor posts across the organisation in order to continue to deliver on this standard of service to all of our clients.
In this role, you will perform all the usual responsibilities, including application checks, site inspections and enforcement procedures. Above all else, the focus of this role is on flexible, single team working across the full breadth of our three combined areas.
We understand that flexibility is a two-way street and believe that talent speaks for itself. While Building Control experience is highly desirable, we are quite open about the background you can come from; whether that be the public or private sector or associated disciplines.
