LABC charity of the year: Pancreatic Cancer UK

Pancreatic Cancer UK logo - LABC Charity of the Year

Each year the LABC President selects a charity to support. This year, Richard Scott's chosen charity is Pancreatic Cancer UK.

LABC President Richard Scott training for Pancreatic Cancer UKAs part of his fundraising Richard (pictured first on the left) took part in a coast to coast challenge on 15 and 16 April 2017.

Starting at the famous Eric Morecambe statue in Morecambe on the west coast and riding through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby and taking in Buttertubs Pass, this challenge covered around 140 miles over the two days.

Pancreatic Cancer UK supports those affected by the disease, invests in research, lobbies for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer, and is there for everyone involved in the fight.
