A development of 17 affordable apartments by Halton Housing Truston on the site of the Queen's Hall music venue.

The building control team offered a single point of contact who communicated with all parties to ensure building regulation issues were resolved quickly.

Howley Lane affordable housing - LABC
Howley Lane, Howley

37 affordable housing units by Mellwood Construction on a site beside the River Mersey at Warrington, Cheshire.

An excellent relationship was built between the site agent and building control team during the course of the project. Site inspections were carried out on a regular basis and proactive visits were made towards the latter stage of the build.

A mixed development of retail, commercial, social and open housing by Balfour Beatty.

Good cooperation between site management and building control meant that the schemed was delivered efficiently and on time. 

South Gloucester
Batavia Road - affordable housing - LABC
Batavia Road, New Cross

Another mixed used development - this time by Galliford Try. It provided 114 residential units, office space and a cafe/restaurant.

Proactive communication between the architects, planning officers and building control took place regularly, helping the team achieve a successful outcome.

This Hambridge Homes mixed social rent and private development sits in south London.

The building control team worked with the architect from an early stage, and throughout there was regular contact between site management and the building control inspector.

A 22-unit social rent development by Geoffrey Osborne Ltd.

The open, collaborative relationship built up throughout this build meant that speedy solutions were found and the scheme was delivered on time and within budget.

Winford House, Billingham - affordable housing - LABC
Winford House, Billingham

Keepmoat's development for older people includes 38 apartments for independent living, plus extra care facilities.

Pre-commencement decisions were made with the help of the building control team and the scheme was completed on time and within budget.
