For the duration of the COVID-19 crisis LABC has closed its office and all employees are working remotely and are fully operational.

If you are trying to get a response from a local authority building control team please remember that building control surveyors may be assigned to other emergency duties in public protection and community support.

They may also be working on temporary buildings and structures or prioritising essential construction projects.

Other functions are also part of their public service duties.

As you would expect in the current circumstances, our CPD roadshows, face to face training, and the LABC Building Excellence Awards have been postponed.
