LABC is the membership organisation that works on behalf of local authorities, providing the voice of public service building control to various government departments and industry partners.
LABC provides public sector building control with technical guidance, accredited education, performance standards and validation assessments for our 3,500 surveyors and technicians working for Councils across England and Wales.
We're happy to announce, that in response to new responsibilities brought about by the Building Safety Act, we’re hiring new recruits to join us in multiple locations across England and Wales.
Our new recruits will be technically minded, like problem solving, keen to learn and looking for a really rewarding public service career, not just a job!
We'll take care of all your education and training needs as well as employing you to work in a local authority near to where you live. You'll earn while you learn, be well supported by the team at LABC and be mentored by experienced professionals who'll take care of your practical on the job training.
During your time with us you'll gain a level 4 and level 5 diploma in building control surveying and be well on your way towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor or Building Engineer, someone who makes a real difference to the built environment and everyone who lives, works and thrives in our buildings.
