Register your energy device - guidance for homeowners and small businesses

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have released guidance for homeowners and small commercial business owners to help register photovoltaic panel, heat pump, electric vehicle charge point or battery storage installations.

If you are planning to install an energy device in your home or small business, you need to register the device with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) - this is the company responsible for bringing electricity to the property where you are installing the device.
