Actis shares the stage again at LABC's latest technical roadshow

Dan Anson-Hart from Actis with Anna Thompson from LABC

Builders, architects and specifiers keen to gain insight into the latest developments in the construction world without the need to stray far off the M5 might fancy a trip to the latest LABC technical roadshow.

Delegates will be offered an insight, as ever with these monthly seminars, into the world of insulation courtesy of Actis.

The free event, on Thursday 28 November 2019, includes three and a half hours of CPD training - including a session on addressing the performance gap with reflective insulation. Actis National Specification Manager Dan Anson-Hart and the LABC's Head of Business Development Anna Thompson, both pictured above, will be among the speakers at the LABC technical seminar in late November.

Other training slots look at protecting concrete floors from damp and avoiding warranty claims.

The event is being hosted at The Canalside, Marsh Lane, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 6LQ, just five minutes from junction 24 of the M5.

The event will be a test of ingenuity as well as construction know-how! Attendees are warned not to follow their sat navs, but to adhere to signed instructions near the venue as the construction of the Bridgewater relief road means some roads are closed.

Access via the BMW garage/showground road is unchanged apart from the addition of a few trucks and traffic lights. Delegates can ignore the 'road closed' sign as it does not apply to The Canalside.

Doors (for those who pass the initiative test!) open at 8 am, with free refreshment sand pastries on arrival. The action will finish by 12:30 pm. Places usually get booked up well ahead of time so please reserve your place.
