EUROWALL cavity wall insulation

EUROWALL + is a foil-faced rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam board for use as full fill thermal insulation in new domestic and non-domestic buildings. It’s designed to leave a 10mm residual cavity in new external masonry cavity walls up to 25 metres in height in domestic and non-domestic buildings. Additional requirements will apply where buildings exceed 12 metres in height.

Extensive testing has shown EUROWALL+, which is LABC Registered, to be effective in reducing the thermal transmittance (U value) of external cavity walls with masonry inner and outer leaves, including clay and calcium silicate bricks, concrete blocks, and natural and reconstituted stone blocks.

While this certificate permits the use of the product in any exposure zone subject to consideration of the need for any external render application or finish in severe exposure zones “where such application would be normal practice”, it’s essential that design and construction adheres to the relevant sections of the Agrement Certificate 02/3908 to prevent moisture penetration.

This specialist cavity wall product works at an optimum performance, with precision straight edges to ensure gaps between boards are kept to a minimum. It’s available in 1200mm x 450mm board sizes and has a low emission facing which delivers improved thermal resistance within the clear cavity.
