LABC Charity of the Year 2020-21 Construction Youth Trust
LABC President Anthony Oloyede has chosen Construction Youth Trust as his charity for 2020-21.
Construction Youth Trust is a charity that inspires young people from diverse backgrounds to think about taking up careers in construction and the built environment.

Social mobility is at the heart of the Trust who every year support hundreds of hard-to-reach young people along the pathway into a successful working life in construction.
During his year as President Anthony and LABC will be running the #BuildingAspirations campaign to inspire young people about the world of work by connecting them with relatable industry role models. He aims to make possible 5,000 encounters between industry volunteers and young people from diverse backgrounds and these will be showcased on the Construction Youth Trust's, Anthony's and LABC's social media channels throughout 2021.

The capacity for social mobility within the construction and built environment sector can be exponential and we want to ensure that all young people have the knowledge of, and the ability to access, the opportunities a career in industry can provide.Construction Youth Trust
