Hybrid venilation system

Demand for effective insulation products continues to rise as more attention is focused on energy efficiency and conservation of power. Products that are friendlier to the environment, such as KdB Insulation’s Airgreen Hybrid System, are likely to be more attractive to your clients.

The system, which has LABC Registered Details certification, combines Home ISO, a polyester mass insulation, with either of KdB’s reflective insulation products - an innovative combination of products that can provide benefits over some more ‘traditional’ insulation methods.

Both Airflex, a 10mm semi-rigid thermal reflective barrier, and Expert 50, a reflective insulation with 13 layers, are suitable for use in conjunction with Home ISO. The ability to combine either product with Home ISO means KdB can offer a range of solutions to your insulation needs - from rafters and ceilings to walls and floors.

In addition to the thermal benefits afforded by this system, it is also friendlier to the environment with up to 80% of the polyester fibre used in Home ISO coming from recycled plastic bottles (PET) polyester fibers. KdB also has a zero waste policy in place at all of its manufacturing facilities.

LABC Registered Details, now known as LABC Assured (as of March 2019), is a one-off certification process proving compliance with building regulations and standards across England, Wales & Scotland. Registering your product, system or house type with LABC increases industry confidence while also raising the profile of your company.
