Planning Portal building control application availability mapSince the launch of the Planning Portal building control application service in October 2016 149 local authorities have implemented the online service and around 2,567 applications have been made.

Planning Portal’s building control service enables online applications to be submitted directly to registered Local Authority Building Control (LABC) teams.

You can view a map of LABC teams already offering the service here: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/lpabcsignup (and snapshot shown to the right).

Authorities are signing up on a weekly basis so if they aren’t shown, just ask your local team if they will be online soon.
